How the program works

Each wave of the Mentor Program spans four months, with carefully designed steps to ensure participants get the most out of their experience.

Onboarding to Hyve Platform

The journey begins with access to Hyve, a shared online platform where mentors and mentees connect, communicate, and manage their progress.
  • On Day 1, participants receive platform access, create their profiles, and start getting to know each other online.
  • During the first week, we host an online check-in to guide participants and help mentees get to know their potential mentors.

Kickoff Event: Inspiring Connections

The program officially kicks off with an in-person event.

  • The event includes dedicated sessions for mentors and mentees, and a speed networking rounds, giving mentees the chance to meet potential mentors.
  • After the event, mentees send match requests to their chosen mentors through the Hyve platform. Once the match is confirmed, they work together to set goals and logistics for their mentorship journey.

Mid-Term Check-In

Halfway through the program, we organize mid-term check-ins for mentors and mentees separately.

  • These sessions are tailored to address specific needs, offer additional guidance, and ensure participants are on track to achieve their goals.

Continuous Engagement

  • The Hyve platform remains a central hub for communication and updates throughout the program, keeping mentors and mentees connected and informed about other Women in AI events.
  • We also host an annual networking event for participants from all waves, offering an opportunity to expand connections and foster collaboration across cohorts.

Common questions

For mentees a mentor is an accountability partner. You as a mentee have the power to steer by setting out goals and deadlines with your mentor. Most mentors will gladly open up their network to you, but it’s important to actively use & engage by taking ownership of possibilities in reach during the program.

Our diverse mentor network spans entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, venture capitalists, and other professionals from a variety of industries and countries. While the program is focused on supporting female mentees, we enthusiastically welcome mentors of all genders to contribute their unique insights, shaping the future of AI through guidance and collaboration in an inclusive and supportive environment.
