Award Categories and Qualifications

The AI4Her Legacy Award honors an outstanding woman who has made lasting contributions to the AI ecosystem while championing inclusion and inspiring the next generation. As a mentor, leader, or changemaker, she has helped shape the future of AI through advocacy, representation, or community-building for women in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated long-term commitment to advancing AI and inclusion.
  • Proven record of mentoring or uplifting women in AI.
  • Recognized impact in research, industry, policy, or education.
  • Clear contributions to systemic change or community empowerment.

The AI4Her Future Award celebrates a young woman (30 or under) whose pioneering work signals the next wave of innovation in AI. Whether through research, entrepreneurship, or social impact, she is shaping the future of the field with originality and purpose.

Qualifications:

  • Age 30 or younger at the time of nomination.
  • Leads or contributes significantly to an impactful AI initiative (e.g., product, research, venture).
  • Clear evidence of results such as user impact, recognition, or innovative potential.
  • Commitment to ethical, inclusive, or sustainable AI practices.

The AI4Her Earth Award honors a visionary woman using AI to tackle urgent environmental challenges. Her work may address sustainability, climate resilience, circular economy, or ecological conservation. Through innovation and leadership, she is advancing scalable, AI-powered solutions for a healthier planet.

Qualifications:

  • Proven application of AI to environmental issues (e.g., energy, agriculture, biodiversity).
  • Tangible ecological or climate-related impact from her work.
  • Integration of sustainability or circular strategies in AI-driven efforts.

 The AI4Her Health Award honors a woman whose work with AI is transforming healthcare—be it through improved patient care, medical innovation, or public health outcomes. Her efforts exemplify the use of AI to build more accessible, efficient, and equitable health systems.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated application of AI in healthcare, with measurable results (e.g., outcomes, access, innovation).
  • Contributions to health equity, diagnostics, delivery, or research.
  • Work recognized through partnerships, publications, or scaling initiatives.

Who qualifies as a Nominee?

Candidates that qualify are working, leading, creating or demonstrating innovation in AI in sectors, such as: industry, government, universities, research institutes, startups or NGOs.

Ensure the nominee meets the specific criteria for one of the award categories.

Prepare Nomination Materials

Gather all required information, including the nominee’s achievements, impact, and contributions in the AI field.

Complete the Nomination Form

Fill out the online nomination form below with the nominee’s details and your reasons for nominating them.

Submit the Nomination

Submit the completed form before the nomination deadline.

at the Summit and Gala

Summit

At the AI4ALL Summit we will showcase our AI4Her Award nominees during our afternoon sessions, to celebrate these 20 nominees that are making impacts in AI. As part of the Awards process, the Summit brings the top 5 nominees of the 4 award categories onto the stage. Prepare to learn about the insights and work these nominees do.

Gala

After the Summit, a spectacular Gala will be held. The event is open to the entire community for dinner, dancing, and to announce the winners and finalists of the Awards. Attendees will include leaders and influencers from the industry.
