What People Say About the Program

WHY WE EXIST

Why we need more female-led AI startups

Women are still underrepresented in VC-backed startups and in AI. Private tech companies led by women are more capital-efficient, deliver higher revenue, and are more likely to prioritize socially responsible work. AI4ALL Women exists to close that gap.

Frequently Asked Questions

Entrepreneur is a specialized initiative designed to help women entrepreneurs and founders of AI-driven startups at both the idea and MVP stages develop and scale their products. It provides structured workshops, mentorship, and networking opportunities to prepare startups for funding and growth.

For the spring Ideation program it is €300 (ex VAT) for 1 participant. For the fall MVP program it is €500 (ex VAT). It is an additional €100 for each cofounder wishing to participate in either program.

VAT is added for individual participants, and companies can request an invoice for VAT deduction. The tickets are non-refundable.

The program offers a hybrid format. Key workshops, pitch sessions, and Demo Days are conducted in person to maximize interaction and feedback, while other sessions will be hosted online. Our workshops are hosted on weekday evenings after working hours.

Offline events will be held in Amsterdam at partner offices.

No, there will be no recordings. Studies show that 46% of students are more likely to miss class if a recorded lecture is available. Additionally, experience from other educational programs suggests participants engage more actively without the option to watch sessions later. To ensure full participation and help you get the most out of each workshop, we do not provide recordings.

Both the Idea-Stage and MVP-Stage programs run for 10 weeks. Each program includes weekly workshops, mentorship, and in-person events for networking and pitch preparation.

The Entrepreneur program matches our founders with several startup advisors who are specialists in AI, business, investment and startups. Their guidance is focused on building your business. While the Mentor Program focuses on 1-on-1 mentor relationships that focus on your personal development.

We like to ensure our program is tailored and curated we accept between 6 and 15 startups each phase.
Startups are selected based on the following:

  • Match to program phase. (i.e. no working MVP for ideation phase or a developed prototype for MVP phase)
  • Understanding and clarity of the problem they would like to solve
  • Founder/team’s availability and engagement to participate
  • Quality of founder/founding team (not a hard criteria, i.e. students can participate)

The Idea-Stage program focuses on teams with an AI concept but no functional product, helping them create an MVP and initial pitch deck. The MVP-Stage program is for startups with a working MVP, concentrating on refining product-market fit, scaling strategies, and investor outreach.

The program is open to women founders and entrepreneurs; and startups with at least 1 female founder who will actively participate in the program. The Idea-Stage program welcomes teams with a well-defined AI-powered idea, while the MVP-Stage program is suited for startups with a functional MVP and early traction.

Register for the program by clicking the  ‘Apply now’ button. We only open applications 2 months before a program opens.

We’ll review all applications and notify selected startups after the application deadline.

We welcome startups from the Benelux countries to apply.

The program price covers all online events, so you can invite your co-founder to join these at no extra cost. However, if your co-founder wishes to attend offline events, please purchase an additional ticket. This helps cover costs such as drinks and snacks during offline meetings and ensures commitment to the program.

Yes, attendance is mandatory for Demo Day, and startups are expected to attend at least 90% of the workshops to receive certification.

For the Idea-Stage program:

  • Kickoff: March
  • Demo Day: June

For the MVP-Stage program:

  • Kickoff: October
  • Investor Demo Day: January

Demo Day serves as a launchpad for your startup to present to investors, industry leaders, and potential partners. After Demo Day, you’ll have strategies in place for follow-ups and continuing growth.
Startups will give a 3 minute pitch to a jury of investors and a public audience. A first and second place winner is selected from program participants and offered a prize. Past prizes have included free tickets and speaking opportunities at major conferences like World Summit AI or Big Data & AI
