Our AI Youth Empowerment Program helps Den Haag students build real AI skills and step into a career that’s already changing shape. Ten weeks, built around your life and four things we think matter most: real mentorship, a genuine community, training that actually counts for something, and a real shot at a job. Here’s what that looks like in practice.
You're paired with a mentor who's already working in a field you're curious about, someone who shows up for you at Kickoff, checks in every month, and sits with you through three dedicated Group Mentoring sessions along the way. This isn't a single meet-and-greet, it's a relationship that grows alongside your project.
You'll meet other young people from across Den Haag figuring out the same thing you are, at Meetups built for real conversation, not networking small talk. Through our Youth AI Ambassador Council and partners like Kickstart AI, you're plugged into a bigger AI community than you'd find sitting at home googling tutorials.
Two hands-on Training Days and a Masterclass teach you prompt engineering, AI workflows, and vibe-coding (building real apps without writing code) using tools like V0 and Lovable. Everything builds toward the EY Skills Passport, a credential employers actually recognize, not just a certificate that says you showed up.
The program closes with Career Day, where you present your finished project directly to an employer panel. It's a real introduction, not a job fair handshake, and it's built to open doors, with partners like Kickstart AI and more to come.
Ten weeks, one clear focus each week, running February to May 2027. Every Meetup and Masterclass topic is shaped with input from participants and the Youth AI Ambassador Council, so you help decide what you learn, not just show up for it. Here’s exactly how it unfolds.
This is the big one, in person at De Haagse Hogeschool. You'll get the AI fundamentals down, pitch your project idea out loud for the first time, and meet your mentor that same evening. Your EY Skills Passport officially launches too. Short break right after. We spend it matching you with your mentor, so the pairing is thoughtful, not random.

This is where the vibe-coding starts, using V0 and Lovable to get your first working build off the ground.
Apply a bias and ethics check to your in-progress build, with real feedback from your mentor.

Workflows and automation, your build becomes a working prototype. Get support on issues that arrive and learn more advanced AI skills. Another short break, timed so it never eats into your exam prep.

Here’s the honest version, what this actually takes, and what you actually walk away with.
On average 3-5 hours a week. Consisting of weekly events 2-3 hours (online & in-person), biweekly checkin with your mentor, time spent building your project, self-paced learning via the EY Skills Passport, and half day trainings. We have planned breaks within the program around the holiday schedule and exams.
A real, working AI project you built yourself, not a worksheet. A completed EY Skills Passport, a self-paced, 10-hour credential employers actually recognize, not a participation certificate. A mentor relationship that doesn’t end at Graduation. And real time in front of an employer panel at Career Day.

Youth AI Ambassadors get a fully funded seat at a European Youth Exchange in Romania this April, additional AI training, and the chance to connect with young people from across Europe building toward the same future you are. Flights, stay and meals, all covered.
You’re matched with a mentor at Kickoff: someone already working in a field you’re curious about, showing up for you through Group Mentoring and monthly catch-ups.

Business, marketing and communications students are entering a job market that’s changing faster than their curriculum. AI is already reshaping entry-level work, and the students least likely to get formal AI training are often the ones who need it most. That’s the gap this program exists to close.

A free, ten-week AI training program for MBO and HBO students in Den Haag, combining hands-on Training Days, mentorship, Meetups, a Masterclass, and a self-paced credential, ending in a Career Day and Graduation where you present a real project to employers.

A blend of both. Kickoff, both Training Days, both Meetups, the Masterclass, and Career Day + Graduation are in person, 7 days total. Group Mentoring sessions are online.

10 weeks of content over 15 weeks from February till May 2027
The program is mostly run in English, however all trainers speak Dutch and we can match you with mentors who speak Dutch or English (or possible another language)
You stay connected to the AI4ALL alumni and mentor community, you walk away with a project, a certificate and an EY Skills Passport to show for it. And a network of new friends!
You must be between the age of 16-24 based in Den Haag or surrounding regions like Delft, Zoetemeer and Leiden. Able to participate in atleast 75% of all activities.
Access and motivation. Not credentials, not prior experience. We especially want to hear from young women, young people from migrant backgrounds, and first-generation learners.

You’ll get a confirmation email that we’ve received your application. After the first review, candidates who move forward are invited to a short intake call. We’ll host an Office Hour in November if you want to learn more before committing, and final decisions go out by no later than 1 month before the start of the program.
We are looking for committed students who will participate in atleast 75% of all sessions. Lack of participation means that another student who could have had stronger attendance misses out. Students who do not complete atleast 75% of activities will not receive a certificate and letter of recommendation.
At Kickoff, then you’re formally matched right after, and your first call happens before Group Mentoring 1.
Sign up through our mentor interest form. We will review your application, if we think you are a good fit, we will setup an intake call. After which we will give our decision on your participation. All mentors must complete a VOG certificate (we can provide this free). To participate as a mentor you must be willing to attend the Kick Off and commit atleast 2 hours each month during the program. We will match you to your mentee, but cannot guarantee all mentors will have a mentee.
A self-paced, 10-hour online AI credential. About an hour a week, done on your own time, confirmed at Graduation alongside your certificate.
A fully funded trip for our Youth AI Ambassadors this April, additional AI training alongside young people from across Europe. Flights, accommodation and meals are covered.
